Thick handmade high carbon steel blade.
Full tang battle ready sword (Not a "display replica").
Hand honed blade edge comes very sharp.
Full tang blade extends to the end of the handle.
Dual bamboo peg construction.
Unique guard (tsuba) and fittings. All fittings are tight and black finished metal.
Black matte scabbard (saya) with metal mouth and engraved design.
Black cotton cord wrapped hardwood handle.
Includes black cotton sword carry & storage bag.
Faux ray skin handle.
This sword can be dismantled for care or display.

Crane Katana
This is a very decent entry-level, functional sword. In looks I give it a 5, in function a cautionary 4. Yes, it's perfect for katas, VERY light cutting (shipping tubes, 1/2 mats), & looks perfectly at home among more expensive pieces. Weight wise, I'd put it at about 80% of a comparable Musha. The blade is slightly thinner, the handle slightly narrower. A good choice for those who prefer speed over power. :) 5 stars, you'll pay at least double elsewhere.

Very nice sword, came as advertised. Sharp, full tang and solid. This is what I've come to expect from Sharp Import after many years of dealing with them.
