Hylian Shield is a type of shield in the video game series The Legend of Zelda. Hylian Shields are typically made of metal and feature designs that are inspired by old European knights' shields. These cosplay shields can be purchased at certain shops in the games, with some appearing as a reward for defeating bosses and as hidden items to be found throughout Hyrule. 

In some games, the Hylian Shield reduces the damage Link takes when hit, while in others it simply prevents Link from getting knocked back. The Hylian Shield appears in various stages of The Legend of Zelda series. Often, it is one of the most powerful shields that can be obtained and is usually stronger than even the Mirror Shield. 

Some games also feature different colored Hylian Shields that offer unique abilities. Although it has not been as prominent in recent games, the Hylian Shield has appeared in several Zelda games.

But what makes cosplaying so exciting is when you start to cosplay as one of your favorite characters and then you get recognized by someone else who also cosplays the same character having the same costume ideas. It's like a little sign that the world is full of cool people, even if they're not wearing costumes!

With the internet, cosplaying has become more accessible now for most people around the world. The quality of photos and video is better, and people don't need to travel long distances to get to a convention or event.
